Missing

It has been missing for a few weeks already. =)
These pictures were taken about a month ago because the shoes was so nice. I do believe it was one of the best school shoes I ever had. Volleyball prints on the sole, an upward curve in the shoe for better comfort and awesome red color, it was very useful. Cheap, too. *sigh, so I'm a little disappointed it got lost.
How it got lost? Well, I walked out of the computer lab and my shoes weren't on the shoes rack. FYI, shoes are prohibited in the lab. So I walked to the shops opposite the school to wait for my mum in my socks. In fact, I thought it was fun(sillysmile). About the disappearance, I didn't make anyone mad and I know i didn't misplace it.
It's just gone. Mysterious disappearance. And I just wasn't mad. I keep thinking it is someone playing a joke on me and one day that pair of shoes will come back. If I don't get it back, I hope the person that took it would use it properly. If it is not in the hands of a human, then....ah well.

I 'm not angry. My parents were angry. That was surprise for me. Well, it's just shoes.

Okay, so it's lost. I can't do much, I've told the teacher in charge. So...

Triumphant Death

Ali bit off the snake’s head as he breathed his last. (Weird, I know)

Call it what you like- a tragic win, a fatal triumph, a hero’s death – This kind of scene is very popular in dramas, novels – fiction and sometimes non-fiction, and even classics.

That’s just some random stuff. Currently, I have some good news, I’ve done sejarah folio. The bad news (there has always been) is that there is still much more to do. Geo folio, mid-term tests, trials and who knows what. So I guess this is the time where I have to switch to turboboost mode.

Many unique ideas are born from accidents, yet there are no accidents.

Slightly confusing but quite, quite true.

Oh, and I nearly forgot...this is my 100th post!!!! :D :D

About Pens and Chess Sets

sigh*
this might be slightly depressing but I have a tendency to drop ALL my pens. =)

That's why I'm scared to use g'soft cause once dropped, it's twice leaking. Pens are still pretty awesome stuff that let you record down stuff on pieces of dried pulp.
About Chess, well, I'm playing it. In a competition. So, yeah, I'm nervous.
April and May seem to be the busiest time for me apart from PMR season-competitions are just everywhere non-stop during this period, especially ones I'm interested in. Volleyball, chess, mighty minds, debate, saintis muda and exam(not a like).
Chess sets. I want to bring up something important about them. I noticed that some companies are creating the chess boards the wrong way! Well, at least they are folding it the wrong way. Let me explain. When you are facing a chess board the left corner square on the row nearest to you should be black( the darker color). Well, some companies have folded the chess sets the wrong way which means when the fold is horizontal, the left corner square on the first row is white ( the lighter color). So you have to turn it in such a way that the fold is vertical towards you in order for the board to be placed the correct way. So please take note of this when you're buying a chess set. =)

That's about all for now.

A Kick in The Butt

I got one slap in the face when I received my maths test paper today. 73%.
Ouch. What made it worse was the amount of people getting 90% and higher. There were three people who got full marks. So, of course I feel bad. I know I could have done better.

I like maths and science and used to be very good in them. Maybe I loosen up these few days but now I have realized that I shouldn't do that anymore. No more slacking for me. I need as much 'A's as possible in this year's PMR. Need to go science stream.

In tuition today, teacher was like talking about physiological stuff and said studying doesn't need a quite and clean environment. You just need concentration and everything that you read will enter your head. By the way, speaking of brains, I used to look down at this organ, usually comparing it with the computer. What I found out is that the human brain is in a class of it's own. It is probably more than 10 times faster than any microprocessor in today's world. I'm sorry God, for undermining your work and creation. Sigh.

Anyway, my teacher told us that he used to be very playful, but when it came to the classroom, he would focus 100% so that after class he could just throw away his books and go and play without a worry because he had all the information in his head. And he prooved to his friends that he could get good results with that method by getting a a straight As in Diploma. Awesome, right? Well, if he can do that, why not we? Maybe not to the degree of throwing our books =) away but why not we concentrate in class so that when we revise it'll be a piece of banana cake. MUNCH.

Football Fever!

I've waited so long for this, and I'm not going miss the World Cup.

One week of the holidays is almost over, and the World Cup in South Africa is starting tomorrow. I don't about you, but I'm crazy. The World Cup has always been one if the highlights of my life, and I don't want to be disappointed.
What I mean is, I really want to watch some matches on television. It is so fun to be just watching the match and celebrating the goals (even though neither is your favorite team). Well, that's what I think. But this is one of the biggest events on earth!I've been checking the dates and time for the matches, and some of them are not very late (7.30 pm, 9.00pm, 2.30 am). So, I guess that's a good sign.
However, I do know some people who hate football (don't ask me why), and I feel that's sad. No insults though.
I don't have anything else to write about, so I'm wishing all football fans Happy Watching and Cheering. To those who are in South Africa, I've gotta say that you are lucky!

Consistently Normal

Exams are near. Again.

Sure, the holidays are here and we should all be happy and all that. But the first term examination is coming right after this. I am not particularly sad and neither happy. Just......UGH.
But don't bother about me, I'm just a bit tired. I am writing this post just to say that it feels very weird to have the exams after the holidays. You can say it is a good thing, and some may say it is a seriously bad thing. I just don't know what to say. Exams have been going on for decades and decades, it has become a norm. Why can't there be something different? Something like no examinations? Or can't they just measure the volume of our brains and see whether it has grown a few inches?

Alright, I admit it. Exams have been going on for decades before and will be going on for decades to come. Well, of course there is another option - fail.

Okay, not funny. Well, better start studying.

Book Music

Have you ever read a book while listening to music? I am sure many of you have.

Well, I have been doing this on and off for quite some time. And I realized that I like it. Reading a book while listening to music is a good combination but there is also another thing I noticed. If I read a book and listen to the same song every time I read that book, I will began to pair the song with the book. For example, I read Percy Jackson while listening to the song Fireflies. So, after some time, whenever I hear the song I will think of Percy Jackson. It sorts of becomes the theme song for the book. I know this is weird. Well, I'm quite sure I haven't explained this properly and all of you are gaping at this screen.

But I'm sure some of you out there have experience the same thing. And for those who are gaping or frowning at the screen, just try reading a book while listening to a song. I'm sure you will understand.

By the way, after writing about all these stuff, I just figured that if we put a song player in a story book (one that's suits the storyline of the book), the reader will be able to listen to the song and read the book. An idea for a new invention? Maybe.

Heat

The heat nowadays are overwhelming. Everyday, people are praying for rain. Rain. Drops of water from heaven that wash away pollution and dust, leaving a cool mist to settle. I love rain. It's like the blood of Jesus, washing away our sins.

Oh, yeah, about the heat - it's unbearable. Still, I am trying my best not to turn on the air conditioner, considering what it does to the environment. So instead, I turn the fan full blast and wear shirts with holes (holy :P). But please don't misunderstand me. I am not a really a environment lover although I do strive to improve the state of the environment. I still leave the fan and lights on unused. Fortunately, my mom never fails to remind me to switch them off.

During this dry season (my mom calls it a heat wave), girls normally say, "I wish I was a boy." I think you know why. There is one thing that boys can do but girls can't in a crowded place - take of your shirt. Oh, they don't know how cooling to let out all the vapour out. HA!

Anyway, hope that all readers will continue to enjoy yourself, since Chinese New Year is not over yet. And another reminder: don't loose your temper.

Desperate to Communicate with The Reader

I really want to share with you about my CNY experiences and joy. About the red packets I receive, the relatives I met. I want to show you the photos of my realtives, of my cousins and a few of my cute nephews.

I am so desperate I keep on ruffling my hair (not pulling them out, so I am not THAT desperate). I am sure you are curious about what is going on now, but please be patient. I am currently in my hometown which is about 60 km from my PC at home. So, I will upload my photos at HOME and then blog it! SIMPLE!=D

Happy Chinese New Year and I hope that you will enjoy the remaining days of CNY especially to studying readers. Because I am very sure that after the CNY holidays, we will be straining our bodies to study.

GOD BLESS YOU.

SMK Bukit Mewah Cross-country Competition

Tomorrow, more than a 1000 students will be running for glory, for the spirit of unity and to slim down. Merentas desa, as it is called in Bahasa, is a very good sport to take part in as it promotes the spirit of unity and it allows you to show your talents. And personally, it can make you push yourself to the limit.

I don't know why some people are reluctant to take part in this event. Their reasons are that they will lose or they just hate straining their legs. If you have Asthma or some kind of sickness, it would be a smart move to pull out of the event. But the others? Come on, where's your sportsmanship? Anyway, it's too late to join if you have pulled out. I am not writing this to force you or make you feel bad, I just am encouraging you in a very social event that happens only once a year.

So, please take part in your school's cross country competition, you will enjoy it.

p/s: Be warn, I know that some people will try to steal your things while you are running. So....watch out! Put your things in a safe place.

Promoted

On the first Sunday of 2010 all the new Form 2 youths were called up and were prayed for in church. However, I was still in my hometown, singing in another church. So, they called my parents and told them. HE is everywhere.

Actually, this isn’t something very important. It’s just a sign that I have completed my Sunday school days and from then on I will be listening to the pastor in the sanctuary. So, on the 10th of January 2010 (the second Sunday), I didn’t head straight for the Sunday school classroom. I had brought my pen and notebook to record down the pastor’s sermon. That day, the topic was based on the Church Theme, “Behold His Wonders, Declare His Glory”. It was “His Name Is Wonderful”. Basically, the topics for these few weeks will be about God’s different names. The passage was Isaiah 9:2-7. That Sunday, it was on 4 names of Jesus: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace.

It was quite an interesting sermon, with the pastor cracking a few jokes here and there. Tomorrow’s topic would be “His Name Is Jehovah Rohi, The Lord Is My Shepherd”. Interested? Come over to my church to here about it.

ENGLISH SERVICE (SUNDAY)
1st service: 8.00-9.30 p.m.
2nd service: 10.00-11.30 p.m.
Venue: Tabernacle of Worship, No. 887, Jalan Belimbing 5, Taman Starlight Park, 70100 Seremban.

I think you will enjoy it.
