The gist of the story is that my mom agreed to help me make mooncakes since we haven’t made them for quite some time. So my mom took care of the filling and I just moulded the shape of the mooncake or Ping Pei (snow skin) mooncakes. Was it tasty?? Well, it depends on your taste; I did give some to my friends and most of them loved it. =D Here are some photos:

My family and I had a wonderful Chinese New Year Eve dinner with my father side relatives at The Waterlily, a Balinese Bistro. Above is the lamb chop I ordered, very different from the traditional Chinese food we used to have in the past CNYs.
