Skin and Blood

Nah, this isn't has nothing to do with vampires.

I think my skin has a problem. Every time I go under sun for about an hour it gets one shade darker. I don't mean just a bit darker, I mean I become roasted. I tried putting sun-tan lotion but that didn't work. Well, it should be normal to get tanned after bathing under the sun but I have seen people who just stay white even though they spend and hour under the sun-and they don't put any lotion, not even wear a cap.
So, something is wrong either with them, or with me. Yea, it could just be genes.
That's the main reason I'm writing this post. Just curiosity.
About the blood, well that's blood pressure. I got my blood pressure taken in school the other day and it was low. Which means I should eat more, etc. etc. But then my mum says I should get a second opinion.
From my view, it is better to be low then high, all I have to do is get angry more and eat more fat-simple right? Heh heh.

Comments are welcomed.

NSCFL CAMP

I just received the NSCFL camp letter via e-mail minutes ago. So, now I'll just wait for the hard copy that will arrive through snail mail in this week.

What I think about camp? Good thoughts. I got a feeling that this camp is perfect to build up future leaders to lead the Christian Fellowships in the years to come. By the way, NSCFLC stands for National Christian Fellowship Leader's Camp. This camp is organized by Scripture Union and will be held from Nov 22 to 27.

My hopes: That I will get my money's worth through gaining knowledge and wisdom from the activities in this camp. My brother did go for this camp before, coming back with a good experience.

I'm pretty enthusiastic to go for this camp, because this might be my last year to go this camp and I'm sure it'll have a lot of teachings. Er..now I'm speechless.

Conclusion: This camp is good. Young Christians who want to serve should check it out next year.

Mooncake Making

I’m writing again on another past event to continue on with my story craze. You would know about this “story craze” if you have read the previous posts. This event happened during the mooncake festival and I had not enough time to write about it as I had to prepare for the upcoming final exams.

The gist of the story is that my mom agreed to help me make mooncakes since we haven’t made them for quite some time. So my mom took care of the filling and I just moulded the shape of the mooncake or Ping Pei (snow skin) mooncakes. Was it tasty?? Well, it depends on your taste; I did give some to my friends and most of them loved it. =D Here are some photos:

Cheers of Light

The festivals of lights has arrived, signalling the ending of the school year. It has been a rather bumpy ride for me. I would love t write about many experiences, but I guess I should wait till December.

Anyway, back to the topic. I just want to wish all Malaysians Happy Deepavali. I hope all of you enjoy the celebrations and take care of your health and safety.

Also known as the Festival of Lights, Deepavali is basically the celebration of the triumph of Good over Evil. Even President Obama took time to wish everyone Happy Deepavali!

Happy Holidays. WHOot!

Of iPads and Dreams.

I was holding It, the iPad, standing hypnotized and admiring its mesmerizing beauty and speed. The applications moved at light speed before my eyes. with just a gentle stroke of the finger, I could do so many things with this treasure. Suddenly, a hand appeared and snatched it away. Ad my beloved iPad was gone...

As I turned over in my sleep on a night in the month of October, I dreamt about this iPad. How I had found it on the desk and how I had enjoyed the free entertainment just to find out it belonged to someone else. All my hopes and joy were suddenly sliced and shredded. *sigh*...

P/s: I might have exaggerated here and there since this it part of the "story craze" project of my mine, but tit is a true story. Now I know how it feels to lose an iPad...

Oh YEAH!!!>>>

Maybe I should be an App developer....

Story Craze

Now that it is November and I am free, I will be trying to write short stories either from the first, second or third person's point of view until the school holidays next year. "Dear Nov" is an example. =D

Hope you enjoy reading them. Yea, I guess I am too free.

Dear Nov

Dear November,

I heard you arrived on earth today. How are you? I missed you so much ever your silent departure last year. I kept on thinking about the holidays and memories you never fail to bring. I wonder whether you have changed after coming back from your long holiday.

The great thing about you, Nov is that you symbolize the coming of the school holidays for students. Not so for fishermen though, because the monsoon season always comes around this time of the year, too.

So, did you meet October on the way here? October is nice, it is a pity that the exams are always during his visit. Can you send him my regards if you see him again? Anyway, how does it feel like to be the 11th month of the year? Pretty nice, I guess. Many people are free and joyful during your visit.

How is your best friend December? Is she already packing her suitcases? I’m looking to seeing her soon.

So, I just writing to say I’m super glad that you’re here!!!! I should spend my time to the fullest since you are leaving in a couple of weeks… So, I hope to hear from you soon. =D

Your friend,
