May-June Hols

At last....slow-pace life again. sigh.

Congratulations to Scott for winning the 10th American Idol. But I'll still support you, Casey and James, you guys make a good show.

Exams. Better than the last one but still average. But average is good. Coca-cola rocks by the way.
Sorry for that random comment. History was the most difficult for me. I guess it's because I didn't have enough time to study Form 1 and Form 2 stuff. But for chinese, I gotta say I did a whee bit better than the last time. I would actually like to thank Michael for opening his exercise book for doing some last-minute revision cause I saw the author of a ming ju (idiom) exactly at that moment when i looked over his shoulder. I think the ming ju was 天网灰灰, 疏而不失. And believe it or not, is was in one of the questions! This was not the first this happened. Remember the science test incident last year. Well, this was about what happened then, too.

Kungfu Panda is back, Pirates of the Caribbean too.

I actually would want to thank everyone that helped me in the Sejarah Folio this year. It was a great time asking for your help. Thanks Jus, Nav, Ade, Logan, Kan, Wai Kin, Jing Y and Joa.

21st May

Some say it's doomsday tomorrow. But I say it's Saturday =D.

Okay, why even bother when the end of the world and the glorious coming of the Saviour of the World is?
Don't get me wrong, what I mean is, don't waste your time calculating and checking and worrying about the date and time, but like the Word says, be ready always (that's about what it said)!

2012, the day after tomorrow, etc.
These movies show that the people were caught by surprise when the apocalyptic destruction came. That is true about doomsday. No human can be accurate about when it will happen. Just be ready. Tomorrow, tomorrow and tomorrow, it could be any day. So-

Advertising

The following content may be insulting and slightly controversial. Please take note that none of the following content refers to anyone in particular. Whatever that is written is just from my point of view and the reader is not compelled to take heed or to be discouraged by what I have written.

From what I have seen and heard, I think many salesmen today are good liars. I mean no insult. But unfortunately, I have seen several salesmen giving talks or coming up to you, just to make their product SEEM better than what it really is. I'm sure many of you are no stranger to this kind of advertising.
If you would weigh these two odds together- selling things and advertising them for they really are and getting few customers who are still satisfied OR exaggerating the quality of your products and getting lots of unsatisfied customers- in the long run, wouldn't the former succeed more than the latter even though the latter would start out better? So, I feel all these dishonest salesmen are only worried about the present. You have to consider the future sales, too.

Anyway, I'm nothing close to a working person let alone a successful professional so my views are just from my point of view. However, I believe most customers would look at the integrity of a salesmen, therefore it is important to be honest in business and in life. I know that because many wise consumers tend to test the salesmen if he is telling the truth i.e. if anything he says contradict another thing he or his partner says, so that they know they are getting their money's worth.

Gasp*, enough of the thinking stuff. The conclusion is when I go applying for jobs after I graduate, I don't think "advertising" or "salesmen" would be on my list of jobs to apply for. However, I am definitely not discouraging anyone interested in this sector. I never said that ALL salesmen are dishonest. But my views are this: it is not as good to work alongside dishonest men as working with people you can trust. Do you agree or not?
It is up to you. Still, the world needs all kinds of businessmen or salesmen in the marketplace. So, if you have set your mind on this as a career, don't let anyone hold you back except divine intervention.

that's about all.

Missing

It has been missing for a few weeks already. =)
These pictures were taken about a month ago because the shoes was so nice. I do believe it was one of the best school shoes I ever had. Volleyball prints on the sole, an upward curve in the shoe for better comfort and awesome red color, it was very useful. Cheap, too. *sigh, so I'm a little disappointed it got lost.
How it got lost? Well, I walked out of the computer lab and my shoes weren't on the shoes rack. FYI, shoes are prohibited in the lab. So I walked to the shops opposite the school to wait for my mum in my socks. In fact, I thought it was fun(sillysmile). About the disappearance, I didn't make anyone mad and I know i didn't misplace it.
It's just gone. Mysterious disappearance. And I just wasn't mad. I keep thinking it is someone playing a joke on me and one day that pair of shoes will come back. If I don't get it back, I hope the person that took it would use it properly. If it is not in the hands of a human, then....ah well.

I 'm not angry. My parents were angry. That was surprise for me. Well, it's just shoes.

Okay, so it's lost. I can't do much, I've told the teacher in charge. So...

Triumphant Death

Ali bit off the snake’s head as he breathed his last. (Weird, I know)

Call it what you like- a tragic win, a fatal triumph, a hero’s death – This kind of scene is very popular in dramas, novels – fiction and sometimes non-fiction, and even classics.

That’s just some random stuff. Currently, I have some good news, I’ve done sejarah folio. The bad news (there has always been) is that there is still much more to do. Geo folio, mid-term tests, trials and who knows what. So I guess this is the time where I have to switch to turboboost mode.

Many unique ideas are born from accidents, yet there are no accidents.

Slightly confusing but quite, quite true.

Oh, and I nearly forgot...this is my 100th post!!!! :D :D

Ha-ciao.

A Taste of Bile

I got last in class, 100th in the standard. Humilating enough.
