Tantrums. How do we deal with them?
Some ignore it, letting the embers slowly fade out. Some harshly stamp it out with scoldings and the rod. Some, and these are the ones I admire, use sweet and kind words to talk sense and love into the child and gently cool the heat. Some, give in to the child's demands, hoping their child will always stay happy.
I'm not writing to say who is right or wrong. I've no right. For each person has a way they see best to deal with their own child. The only point I want to make is whatever you do, your mark will be forever be imprinted on the child. The child grows to into a person molded by how you taught him or her.
But my views are pretty much weak. Let the experienced triumph. (:
By the way, holidays are over. Ain't that sweeeeeeebittereeeeeeeeet? :)
